The Astronomer's House is a heritage house owned by Natural Resources Canada near Ottawa, Ontario. Due to the renovations and the need to preserve this structure, Sensequake was called to perform a test on this two and a half storey building.

For this project, our team was able to perform the following based on our rapid ambient vibration test:
 

• A complete seismic analysis of the structure

• The extraction of the frequencies and mode shapes

• A complete baseline of the structure for future tests

• An assessment of the structure's current integrity
