A pharmaceutical company in the West Island of Montreal was looking to be able to understand the effect of vibrations on their structure due to a nearby construction site. The company needed reassurance that the vibrations were not over specified levels that would affect drug production, due to the nature of the work being done in the building.

With an impact test conducted at various points away from the building, our analysis was able to:
 

• Monitor the ground-borne vibrations

• Determine the transfer mobility

• Measure the building coupling loss

Our wireless sensors were able to provide a flexible solution, while determining the vibrations outside and inside the building.
